The institution

The Metropolitan Taxi Institute (IMET) is an autonomous body under the Barcelona Metropolitan Area (AMB). Its function is to manage urban taxi and VTC services within the Barcelona metropolitan area by establishing the regulations governing the provision of these transport services.
