If you are on the street and want to take a taxi, you can flag one down. When the light module of the taxi is green, it is available to take a fare. Otherwise, a sign on the front window indicates that the vehicle is occupied.

The best places to stop a taxi on the street and get in are on corners. Bear in mind that a taxi driver cannot make sudden manoeuvres or stop the car in places that represent a danger to traffic.
